Use Your Gmail As Online Storage

store-files-on-gmail You must be aware of online storage sites, like Rapidshare, Megaupload, Etc, these sites allow you to store and share large files.

but to do that, you need to make an account with them, and the premium service costs much and  their free service sucks,

but now, there is a solution to this problem.

you can use your Email for storing important files, and that too for free.

nowadays, almost every email service provider gives more than 1 GB storage. I think that is more than enough for you. and if not, you can create as many accounts as you want (its all free :) ).

You can use this application to directly upload the file from your computer to you email box.

For Windows Users

Gmail Drive is the best option, There might be few others, but need not to know any

other application.

Click here to see how it works.

For Linux Users

GmailFS is a python application that uses the Fuse userland filesystem. you need to install python for working it.

So, How do you or where do you store your files?

try this method if you haven’t.
