Uninor Launches GSM Services On 3rd December

Uninor Uninor is the new name which is added to the indian telecom industry today, Unitech Wireless, a telecom venture of the reality major Unitech  group and Norway’s telecom operator telenor has launched their GSM services in india by the name of Uninor.

Their punch line is Ab Mera Number Hai, Currently they have launched their services in 7 telecom circles, which are Tamil nadu, karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, UP ( East and West) and Bihar ( including Jharkhand).

Uninor Starter kit will have the validity of lifetime and the price is Rs49/- wth the talk time of Rs5

They currently have two plans to offer

  1. Talk More@29 Paisa
  2. Pay Per Second Plan

Talk More@ 29 Paisa offers Local calls at 29 Paise and STD Calls at 49 Paise per minute with a daily rental of Rs2.

The other plan which is a must have plan for any telecom operator nowadays is Pay per Plan, where Local/STD calls to Own network will be charge at 1Paise per 2 Second and 1paise per second to other networks.

Uninor’s parent company Telenor’s CEO & President Jon Fredrik Baksaas said that this is the fastest rollout we have ever done, because the business model has become standardized. We are here to stay for a long time, and there is no reason why India should lag in mobile density in Asia, and we hope to contribute.
