The 2009 Tata Nano has the gigantic hopes and dreams of all India & Tata group riding upon its Nano body.

When you seen for for the first time, you would be shoked, for such a cheap car, you would expect a car with plastic body, & mini size. Instead you get a car which is 3098.8 mm long & 1651 mm tall , with metal body fabricated thru traditional spot-welding. The Nano has obviously been built to a price but not to a compromise. Height has been cleverly used to create a roomy cabin with plenty of head & legroom for its four occupants.

To achieve low cost Tata has saved money at all corners, literary as all four wheels are held by three nuts instead of four/five found in other cars. The battery is placed below the driver’s seat to save cost on the electrical wire between engine & battery (most expensive electrical wiring). Even car doesn’t have any hatch behind & boot is access by folding rear seat which are 50:50 split.
