Tata Indicom has Launched a Unique Plan for its Prepaid users. the Plan is called Pay Per Call. under which all the Local Calls will be at Rs1 and All the STD calls will cost Rs3.

Great Plan, you must be thing why great? When Others are offering STD calls for as low as 55Paise and Local Calls for Free. Why the hack Tata Indicom is Charging Rs1 for Local Calls and Rs3 for STD.

Well they are charging for every call, but that call can be of more than One Minute. Yes, Their Site State that the call can be for 10 Minutes.

YEs, All Local and STD Call Pulse will be for 600 Seconds. That Means Local Calls will Cost 10 Paise and STD calls will cost 30 Paise. The best thing about this Plan is that you can make calls to any network under this plan.

One More thing is that It is applicable only on new Connections with New handsets. If you Purchase a New Sim and use your Old Phone. I am Afraid That it Won’t Work. The Data I got is from their Website Tata Indicom

Update: Completely Wrong Information flowing everywhere that the call can be as long as you want, like for 2hours, 3 hours etc. But, I’ll Suggest you to please got to Tata Indicom Site and read the foot notes. which are as follows.

Note for Pay per call Plan :
1. Each local call to be charged at Rs 1 for 10 minutes & each STD call to be charged at Rs 3 for 10 Minutes
2. Pulse for Local & STD call will be 600 secs
3. Pulse for Roaming calls will be 60 secs
4. This new starter kit allows keep talking benefit only with the purchase of a new handset on the tata indicom network , if sim is used with old & used handsets , the default tariffs of Rs 1/min for Local calls & 1.5/min for STD Calls . Local SMS @ Rs1 & National SMS @ Rs 1.5
5. As a special promotion , customers will enjoy an extended pulse of 24 hours for all local calls for first 15 days from date of activation
6. Daily rental to be charged at Rs 1 per day
7. Keep talking plan is a stand alone plan & can not be coupled with any other special offers which has free talk time or free minutes built in.
