Internet Explorer 8 Review

Over few years, Microsoft has failed to give a hit product, be it their Zune thing, Internet Explorer 7 or the OS Windows Vista.

But this time, by releasing Internet Explorer 8, they have done an incredible job. I can say so because I have used it. It looks pretty well and had a tough competition with Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. We can say that it has taken the best from both of the 3rd party Browsers, be it the Tab thing or Secure Surfing (or say Surfing without history on).

Here is what happens when you open a New Tab in IE8. It east up few seconds while opening but that’s ok, you are not getting an empty tab, it is filled with useful options you’d like to have.

By clicking on the Icons on the right hand side at the top of the browser, you get following options.

the Bookmarks, as they are called Favorites in Internet Explorer, are arranged in a nice and clean way. The Favorites Icon is at the top in lest hand side.  image

Also, I felt that this browser is little faster than others. And has taken the Website Prediction thing from Firefox and made it much cleaner and organized to understand

It takes out the pages from Auto complete Suggestions, then History, and then Favorites.

his Browser is meant to be the best from Microsoft, they have recently Launched a Search Engine Called Bing, also they have got their new OS Windows 7 which is expected to be released on 22 October 2009. Seems like Microsoft has pulled up their socks to recapture the market from Google and Apple.

Internet Explorer 8 is more stable than IE 7 that is why i like it. I always experience freezing browser window in IE 7.
