Amidst all the problems hovering around PayPal, Facebook and PayPal have joined hands for Virtual Payments made in Facebook apps. If you are a gamer in Facebook playing FarmVille, Mafia Wars, then you can now buy virtual items using PayPal. Facebook, the social networking giant has tied up with PayPal for advertising and developer systems also. This so called strategic relationship will allow PayPal to be make three way tier between Advertisers-Facebook and Users-Facebook and Users-Advertisers.

Owing to this partnership, Facebook will now introduce a new feature called Facebook Credits that could be used to buy virtual items for games such as Happy Aquarium, Restaurant City and many more in the lists. By this the Game Developers will gain their share as well. Assuming the large visitor volume for these games, there is a big income awaiting Facebook. Moreover the advertisers can now choose PayPal as the option for buying ads.
However, this is not really welcomed by Indians due to the recent issue of PayPal having troubles with the Reserve Bank of India.
