BSNL now seems to put an end to your slow Internet connections creating headaches for the people. The state owned operator, BSNL, has now announced a new offer which offers Broadband Speed at 24 Mbps.

There are two tariff plans which BSNL has introduced. The one with speed 16 Mbps and the other with speed 24 Mbps. The Tariff Plan for 16 Mbps connection costs you Rs.4,999 per month while a 24 Mbps connection costs you Rs.9999 per month.

But the biggest disappointment is that the 24 Mbps broadband connection will be available only to customers located at a distance of up to 500 metres (0.5 Kilometers) from the BSNL exchange. Adding to that a 16 Mbps broadband connection is available to only those residing up to about 1 km away. Just when we thought this is a good plan offered by the BSNL this restriction makes these plans virtually unavailable for the potential customers.
