Reliance mobile is among the first to take the initiative and announce No Black Out Days for SMS.

Every Telecom Operator offer SMS packs, but these packs does not work in festive days, like Holi Diwali etc.

On these days, the SMS are charged at regular rates. i.e Re1 or Rs1.50

Reliance mobile is currently offering two plans for SMS, one is Rs11 pack, which makes every SMS send at 1Paise per SMS and there is a daily rental ofRe1.

Another Pack is of Rs25 Where you get 1500SMS for a Month With a Daily limit of 300SMS.
